I just had a root canal today and it was totally painless. Definitely better than dealing with tooth sensitivity.

I just had a root canal and it was the mmost painful experience I have every had (And I’ve had brain surgery ti have a tumor removed). My problem is that I had a permanent cap on the tooth in question so I felt no discomfort until the tooth was “hot”. No anesthesia helped. Basically felt everything up until the nerve was reached. I will never put a cap on a tooth that has not had a root canal again.

@marquis8469 couldnt they just put you out.

  8. Jaquitita says:

@marquis8469 u probably had an infection on that tooth. normally you can’t feel anything during a root canal, I nearly fell asleep.

i agree with the cost. If someone is in so much pain as i was, why so expensive?? you are in pain, its not cosmetic surgery to enhance your looks!! its treatment to start you functioning again. I had mine yesterday, oh the bliss of no pain. I feel bad for those who cant afford it, i couldnt either, that was my christmas spending money on gifts, but the pain is gone.
